Yesterday I spoke about my desire to ramp up this blog to something like it was back on blogger. To that end, I have imported all my old blogger posts into this site and have set myself the task of weeding out the bad ones, keeping the not-so-bad ones and categorising them all.
You may even notice now that if you point at the “Blog” option in the menu above, your presented with a list of categories. Now, I warn you that all posts are not properly categorised yet, and some may well be in the wrong categories, but it gives you an idea of what I’m heading for. Naturally, if you just click on the “Blog” option instead of one of the categories, you get the whole enchilada – all my posts, page after page of them. There are, in fact, now over 500 posts on the site.
Some of the categories you’ll notice are “Wednesday Words”, “Friday House Guest”, “Six Sentence Sunday” and “Monday Morning Flash”. These were carried over from the blogger site and I still think that those regular posts were a good idea. So right now I’m opening up the website again to guest posts and am right now calling for submissions.
I know that “Six Sentence Sunday” has officially closed, but that doesn’t stop me from posting a few sentences from my works every weekend now does it? But what about the other three?
“Monday Morning Flash” is just that. I’m offering to post a flash story – 300 words or less – here on my website along with any links out that would seem appropriate.
“Wednesday Words” was for excerpts from erotic romance novels and short stories – so if you’re looking for publicity and would like to post an extract from your book, hit me up and we’ll sort out a posting date.
And “Friday House Guests” had the chance to write about anything they liked (within reason), so if you’re interested in a guest post and have something interesting to say, let me know and we’ll see what we can do.
Either tweet me @marcnobbs, catch me on Facebook, or email me.
